Benefits of Scribes

We at American Scribes hire only the brightest, most motivated, and energetic applicants to become scribes. You are expected to be punctual, dependable, and mature. Professionalism is one of the most important traits needed to becoming a successful scribe, as health-care professionals in training these traits are paramount to your future careers. You will be expected to give 110% on every shift.

Qualifications:

• You must be at least 18 years of age.
  
• You must be a pre-medical student at an accredited University, or post baccalaureate with a premedical degree.
  
• You must have a passion for medicine, and a goal to be a doctor or physician assistant.
  
• You must be able to commit to one of these time requirements:
  
• Part-Time: You must work 6-10 shifts* per month for a minimum of 2 years.
  
• Full-Time: You must work 16-18 shifts* per month for a minimum of 1 year.

*Note shifts are typically 8-12 hrs depending on the institution.
